Description
121cc Parmakit racing cylinder with diaphragm inlet for PV125, ET3, PK125, ETS – driving licence A1/B196 (11kW/15PS)
The 121cc Parmakit cylinder is the scaled down version of the brutally strong 135/144cc W-force cylinders. Due to the direct diaphragm inlet cast onto the cylinder, the inlet control is completely independent of the otherwise dominant engine case inlet. The cylinder has very large scavenging surfaces as well as control angles which are conceived for the very sporty application purpose. such a cylinder in full racing trim makes loosely over 20 HP at the wheel, with a speed range starting from approx. 6000 rpm.
If you want to test the 11kW/15HP allowed by the legislator, to keep the engine compliant for the current driving licence regulation A1 or B196, this is also the right place to be. The cylinder can be trimmed to a lower speed level with a somewhat tamer exhaust. This does not exceed the maximum allowed power and usually also improves the drivability, due to an earlier torque.
From the basic conception, however, the cylinder can not deny its design. So you have to reckon with various modifications to the engine case (planing of the cylinder base sealing surface) and if necessary to the frame (opening for intake manifold).
